WHO PARTICIPATES IN EACH MEET?
Everyone (both JV and Varsity) participates in all dual meets.
Friday/Saturday invitationals are varsity runners only, except the Dakota Invite has junior varsity events.
Keep these meet dates open. You are expected to participate in all meets. If there are any conflicts (extenuating circumstances only), please let coach know MORE than a week in advance. Lineups usually need to be sent in a week ahead of time.
Regional meet we are allowed 2 entries per event and division meet is 3 entries per event. If you are not in the top 2-3 in your event, you will compete in all meets where JV athletes participate.
To participate in the county meet you must reach a qualifying mark sometime during the season. These marks are released a few weeks prior to the county meet.
To qualify for state finals you must be first or second place in your event at the regional meet only, or meet a qualifying standard at the regional meet.
